Key information
1. Our Role - What TrueJuris Is and Is Not
TrueJuris is a business legal consultancy and advisory platform. We provide structured consultations, commercial legal guidance, preliminary issue assessment and assistance in identifying appropriate next steps.
Where a matter requires specialised advice, document drafting, negotiation, representation, litigation support or engagement of an enrolled advocate, chartered accountant, company secretary or another professional, TrueJuris may facilitate access to an appropriate service provider or propose a separate engagement.
TrueJuris is not retained as a law firm or as counsel merely because you visit the website, submit an intake form or book a Consultation. No advocate-client, solicitor-client, fiduciary or continuing professional relationship is created unless the scope, responsible professional, fees and terms of that separate engagement are expressly confirmed in writing.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- Client, you or your means the individual or organisation accessing the website or booking a Consultation.
- Consultation means a scheduled advisory session booked through TrueJuris.
- Matter means the one primary issue identified in the intake form.
- Platform means the TrueJuris website, booking journey and related digital interfaces.
- Separate Engagement means services agreed under a separate written scope, proposal, engagement letter or instruction.
3. Eligibility and Authority
You must be legally competent to enter into a contract under applicable law. If you book on behalf of a company, partnership, trust, association or another organisation, you represent that you are authorised to provide the information submitted, incur the consultation fee and accept these Terms on its behalf.
4. Information You Provide
You must provide accurate, complete and current information. The usefulness of a Consultation depends on the facts and documents made available to us. You should identify relevant parties, material deadlines, existing proceedings and any facts that may affect conflicts, limitation periods or urgency.
TrueJuris is not responsible for consequences arising from incomplete, misleading, late or inaccurate information supplied by you.
5. Scope of the Consultation
Each booking is limited to one primary Matter and is ordinarily scheduled for thirty minutes. The Consultation may include review of intake information, discussion of the Matter, identification of material legal or commercial considerations, practical guidance and suggested next steps. Where appropriate, TrueJuris may provide a short written summary after the Consultation.
A Consultation is a preliminary, time-limited advisory interaction. It is not an exhaustive opinion, due diligence exercise, formal legal opinion, document certification, tax opinion, litigation strategy or regulatory clearance. Any output is based on the information available at the time and may require further verification or a Separate Engagement.
6. Services Not Included
Unless expressly agreed in writing, the consultation fee does not include:
- drafting or revising contracts, notices, pleadings, policies, filings or other documents;
- negotiations, correspondence or communications with third parties;
- appearance, filing, representation or advocacy before any court, tribunal, authority or forum;
- ongoing retainership, compliance monitoring, investigation, due diligence or project management;
- obtaining third-party reports, registrations, certifications or professional opinions; or
- any service beyond the one primary Matter described in the booking.
7. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is completed only when you submit the required information, select an available slot, review the consultation details, complete payment and receive a confirmation. Selection of a slot before payment may create only a temporary hold and does not guarantee a confirmed appointment.
TrueJuris may decline, cancel or propose rescheduling where a conflict, scope issue, technical failure, professional unavailability or another reasonable operational concern arises.
8. Fees, Payment and Taxes
The consultation fee is displayed on the final review screen before checkout. The current fee for a standard thirty-minute Consultation is INR 2,999. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown before payment and charged in accordance with applicable law.
Payment is processed through Razorpay or another authorised payment provider. TrueJuris does not store complete card details, UPI credentials or banking authentication data.
A payment is treated as complete only after the payment provider and TrueJuris systems confirm successful capture. If an amount is debited but confirmation is not received, contact the payment provider and queries@truejuris.com with the transaction reference.
9. Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Show
Requests to cancel or reschedule must be emailed to queries@truejuris.com with the booking name, registered email address and booking reference.
No refund is available once the Consultation has commenced. Requests made before commencement will be reviewed based on the timing of the request, professional availability, payment-provider processing and applicable law. Any rescheduled appointment remains subject to available slots.
If you fail to attend, join materially late or are unavailable at the confirmed time, TrueJuris may treat the booking as completed or offer rescheduling at its discretion. If TrueJuris is unable to proceed, we will offer a reasonable alternative slot or process an appropriate refund.
10. Conflicts and Professional Independence
TrueJuris may conduct a preliminary conflict or suitability check. We may decline to discuss or act on a Matter where a conflict exists, accepting it could compromise professional independence, information is insufficient, or the Matter is unlawful, abusive or outside our competence or operating model. Declining a Matter does not imply any conclusion about its merits.
11. No Guarantee of Outcome
Legal and commercial outcomes depend on facts, evidence, counterparties, authorities, courts and events outside our control. TrueJuris does not promise or guarantee any particular result, approval, settlement, commercial outcome or timeframe. Any estimate, view or recommendation is an assessment based on the information then available.
12. Client Responsibilities
You remain responsible for business decisions, statutory deadlines, filings, execution of documents and obtaining any specialist tax, accounting, technical or jurisdiction-specific advice required. You should not delay urgent action solely because a Consultation has been booked.
Where a limitation period, regulatory deadline, hearing date or threatened action may apply, you must disclose it promptly and seek appropriate representation.
13. Confidentiality and Communications
TrueJuris will handle information shared for a Consultation with reasonable confidentiality, subject to applicable law, professional obligations, conflict checks, fraud prevention, payment processing and the Privacy Policy.
Email, video-conferencing and online platforms carry inherent security risks. You should avoid insecure devices or networks and ensure that attendees on your side are authorised to participate.
14. Third-Party Platforms and Professionals
The Platform may use third-party services including Google Workspace, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Razorpay, website-hosting providers and email infrastructure. Those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices.
Where a separate professional is introduced, that professional may require independent onboarding, conflict checks and engagement terms.

You may not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, commercially exploit or use TrueJuris materials to train an automated system without prior written permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
16. Limitation of Liability
